Frank Ruggiero spent years serving the people of New York City as a firefighter, one of the most demanding jobs in the world. When it was time for a new chapter, he traded the firehouse for something a little sweeter.
Frank discovered the Mister Softee franchise opportunity and saw what many others didn't: Charleston, SC was a fast-growing city with a massive demand for event catering and a soft-serve gap waiting to be filled. He acquired the Charleston territory, bought the truck, and hasn't looked back.
Today, Frank leads a team that brings the same discipline and reliability he learned in the FDNY to every booking, whether he is behind the window himself or one of our drivers is.
