Saturday: Spring Family Day at Middleton Place
Goats. Wildflowers. Kids running in every direction.
Middleton Place is hosting its Spring Family Day on Saturday from 10am to 3pm. Farm demos, livestock visits, hands-on activities. Free for members, included with general admission for everyone else, and kids 13 and under get in free. The chickens get feed. You get vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. It works out for everyone.
Saturday: Charleston Farmers Market at Marion Square
Peaches. Fresh bread. Buckets of zinnias.
The Charleston Farmers Market runs every Saturday from 8am to 2pm at 329 Meeting Street through November. Stock your tote, then walk it off with a cone in hand. We pair shockingly well with a farmers market haul.
Saturday: Cast Off Fishing Tournament at Folly Beach Pier
Bring a rod. Bring your kids. Bring an appetite.
The Cast Off Fishing Tournament hits Folly Beach Pier on Saturday from 6am to 2pm. Twelve bucks gets adults in, nine for kids, seniors, and military. No pre-registration needed. Prizes for biggest catch, best five, and biggest youth catch. Whether you reel anything in or not, the beach earns you ice cream. Those are the rules.
Sunday: Pitbull at Credit One Stadium
Mr. Worldwide meets Mr. Softy.
Pitbull rolls into Credit One Stadium on Sunday night at 7:15pm with Lil Jon along for the ride. Seventeen thousand people. Daniel Island. Sunset over the water. It will be hot. It will be loud. You will need a cool down. Dale.
